About Paws 4 A Cure
Paws 4 A Cure was created in loving memory of my Chow Chow Nikko that went to the Rainbow Bridge on April 2, 2007 after bravely battling cancer. Nikko inspired me to want to help other pups battling cancer.
The Goal of Paws 4 A Cure:
1. Raising the general awareness of canine cancer.
2. Creating memorable events that will support the individuals, families and of course our furry friends that benefit from canine cancer awareness and treatment options.
3. Generate financial support for the organization's initiatives with a primary focus on assisting canine 'owners' who cannot afford treatment for their pet.
The Huggable program will provide new stuffed animals to dogs that have to stay overnight at the veterinary hospital and also to outpatient surgery patients. The Huggables also go to the animal shelters. The stuffed animals will provide a sense of comfort when the dogs are away from home and they get to take their new buddy home with them. Who doesn't love a stuffed animal ?!
With the money raised from events and online donations, Paws 4 A Cure will be able to help so many in need of assistance.
To keep costs down to a minimum, you will not receive any mail from Paws 4 A Cure through US Postal Service. All donation receipts are sent via email unless an email address has not been provided. Please make sure that the Paws 4 A Cure emails are not in your spam folder.
